Amazing old chateau/castle, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, very comfortable.we only stayed one night, no one spoke any english apart from the chef, but they tried to be very helpful.In the middle of a vineyard,we had a wine tasting with the chef, very interesting. Food good, but not cheap.overall a lovely experience, would reccommend it.
There was nothing not to like about the hotel.

Convienient location close to motorway, convienient for onward travell to santander ferry
No option for cooked breakfast. Restaurant not open untill 9.30 pm for dinner,much to late when you have an early start the next day.

The hotel was stunning. The staff were very helpful. The food and wine were excellent.
The breakfast was very pricey for what it was. That said it was lovely and served in a room with stunning views of the vineyard and mountains.
